This project took me the longest by far, partially because I kept aiming a little too high (which unfortunately isn't a rarity for me.) The prompt was to create a cover for a children's book, and I pushed the limits with mine because I really just wanted an excuse to make something in the style of an old mid-century horror comic. Unfortunately, I do not have the illustration skills to really make that work. But I did have fun playing with it in photoshop afterward, which is what gave me the textured second version of it.
